With a career in the insurance industry spanning over four decades, Shelita Stuart has built a reputation for excellence and dedication to serving clients’ needs. Shelita began her journey in 1979 with MetLife, where she worked until 1996 before founding Walden Insurance Network in 1997. After successfully growing and managing the agency for 25 years, Shelita sold the business in 2022.
In 2022, Shelita launched Stuart Insurance Services to specialize in helping individuals navigate the complexities of Medicare, Social Security, health insurance for those under 65, and life insurance and long-term care planning for all ages. Shelita’s passion is providing tailored, expert guidance to clients at every stage of their lives, ensuring they make informed choices for their health and financial futures.
Shelita is a long-time member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and NAIFA-Florida. She served on the NAIFA Florida Board of Directors and was honored to hold the role of President from 2018 to December 2019, showcasing her leadership and commitment to the industry.
Outside of work, Shelita is married to Bill and enjoys life with their two fur babies, Dudley and Bella. They have one son and his fiancée, as well as two stepchildren and a grandson.
