Shelita began her insurance career with MetLife in 1979, where she spent 17 years building expertise in life insurance, employee benefits, retirement planning, and client service. In 1997, she founded Walden Insurance Network, successfully growing the agency into a respected independent insurance organization before selling the business in 2022.
Today, as founder and owner of Stuart Insurance Services, Shelita focuses on helping clients navigate Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, long-term care planning, Social Security decisions, and retirement protection strategies.
Her approach is simple: educate first, listen carefully, and provide recommendations that truly fit each client’s needs and goals.

She is a Past President of NAIFA-Florida and has served on numerous local and state leadership boards. She currently serves on a national committee with NAIFA, helping advance professionalism, advocacy, and consumer protection within the insurance industry.
